Indeed these are certainly an example of how the 'attitude of medicine and surgery has evolved impressively over the past 30 years. ______________________________________ Who am I ?  Dr. Francesco De Santis was born in Rome 08.12.1957, has lived and worked for many years in Bolzano and is recently returned in Alto Adige with his family after some years of professional experience in Rome.
He was graduated with honor at the university of Roma "La Sapienza" in 1982 and specialized, with the highest grades and honors in Vascular Surgery at the same University in 1987.
After the training course was awarded the Ph.D. degree in "Angio-Cardio-Thoracic Phisiopathology " at the University of Rome La Sapienza (1992)
From 1993 to 2006 he worked as vascular and thoracic surgeon ------ with interruption in 2000-2001 ----- at the Department of Vascular and thoracic Surgery of the "General Regional Hospital of Bolzano "St. Maurice ". Over the same years he was "Deputy Chief", "Head" of the "Simple Unit" of "Day Hospital" and later, he was recognized the " High Specialization " in " Outpatient Diagnostic Activities "
In 2003 Dr. De Santis has been specializing in Thoracic Surgery with honors at the 'Catholic University" of Rome.
In 2000-2001 was responsible of the simple Unit of Vascular Surgery at the "Cardinale G. Panico" Hospital in Tricase (Lecce)
Dr. De Santis plaied service from 2006 to september 2010 at the 'Complex Unit of Vascular Surgery of the "Sandro Pertini" Hospital of Roma. From 2008 he received the post of "Significant Professionalism" in "Surgery of the Epiaortic Arteries " From october 2010 Dr. De Santis has returned in Alto Adige in Bressanone at the Complex Unit of vascular surgery. The surgical experience of Dr De Santis refers to approx. 2700 operations of Vascular and thoracic Surgery with little experience in General Surgery (ca. 300 interventions). These interventions have been performed both as first and as second player in urgency or elective surgery.
He is Author of 122 publications in national and Iinternazional papers and Congress acts; he has participated as "Speaker" at 33 national and international conferences and has organized National and International Congresses. He also has played Teaching Update at university centers such as the 'University "La Sapienza" of Rome and the " University of "Tuscia" of Viterbo and at the 'hospital' S Mauritius "in Bolzano
Finally he is also writing to the "Italian Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (SICVE)" - The "Association of Italian Hospital Surgeons (ACOI)", and the "International Society of Endovascular Specialists".

Dr. Francesco De Santis, geboren in Rom 08.12.1957, lebt und arbeitet seit vielen Jahren nach Bozen und ist vor kurzem wieder in Rom mit seiner Familie nach so viele Jahre Berufserfahrung in Nord-Italien.
Er schloss sein Studium mit Auszeichnung und Ehrungen in der Medizin und Chirurgie an der 'Universitaet von Rome "La Sapienza" in den Jahren 1982 und spezialisiert, mit der höchsten Klassen und Ehrungen in der Gefäßchirurgie an der Universität im Jahr 1987.
Nach der Ausbildung wurde mit dem Doktortitel in " Angio-Herz-Thorax chirurgisch3 Phisiopathologie " an der Universität von Rome (1992)
Von 1993 bis 2006 arbeitete er als gefaes und thorax surgeon ------ mit Unterbrechung in den Jahren 2000-2001 ----- in der Abteilung für Thorax-und Gefäßchirurgie vom ranlkenhaus von Bozen " S. Maurice ". In den gleichen Jahren der Besetzung war er "Deputy Chief", "Verantwortlich" der "Simple Unit" des "Day Hospital" und später gewann die "Ernennung von hoher Spezialisierung" in "Ambulante Diagnostik Aktivitäten"
Im Jahr 2003 Dr. De Santis ist spezialisiert in der Thoraxchirurgie mit Ehrungen und Auszeichnungen an der "Universitaet Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rom.
In den Jahren 2000-2001 war er Chef für die Abteilung für Gefäßchirurgie vom Krankenhaus Cardinale G. Panik " in Tricase (Lecce)
Dr. De Santis Service spielt von 2006 bis heute als vascula surgeon auf der Gefäßchirurgie von Krankenhaus " Sandro Pertini "in Roma. Ab 2008 erhielt er den Posten des "Bedeutende Professionalität" in "Chirurgie der Halsgefaesse" Die chirurgische Erfahrung von Dr. De Santis bezieht sich auf rd. 2700 operationen von Thorax-und Gefäßchirurgie mit weniger Erfahrung in der Allgemein-und Viszeralchirurgie (ca. 300 Eingriffe). Diese Maßnahmen wurden als erste oder zweite Operateur in electiven oder Dringlichen Operationen.
Er ist Autor von 122 nationalen und Iinternazionalien wissenschaftlichen Veröffentlichungen oder Kongress-Akten, und hat sich als "Lautsprecher" 33 nationale und internationale Konferenzen organisiert und nationalen und internationalen Kongressen.
